THE RECRUITMENT PROCESS

Logan Aluminum’s recruitment process differs from other companies. We take a phased approach when recruiting for our organization with various stages of testing, assessments and interviews.

***The level of experience required varies for each role.***

For Operating Technician positions:
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Applicants must have at least 3 years of work experience after receiving a High School diploma or GED
  • By invite only – eligible applicants will be invited to take an Aptitude Test
  • By invite only - Panel Interviews
  • By invite only – Behavioral Assessment
  • Further steps in the application process will be explained as the applicant undergoes the recruitment process
For General Technician positions:
  • Applicants must have at least 6 years of industrial maintenance experience or a 2-year Industrial Maintenance or Electrical Technology degree plus 4 years of industrial maintenance experience
  • By invite only – eligible applicants will be invited to several interviews
  • By invite only – eligible applicants will be invited to take a multi-skills maintenance test and Behavioral Assessment
  • Further steps in the application process will be explained as the applicant undergoes the recruitment process

RECRUITMENT FAQs

  • I applied for a position months ago, and I would like to update my information. How do I do that?

Applicants can login to the online application system with the email they used for their initial application and update information as applicable.

 

  • How will I be contacted by Recruiters?

Automated emails will be sent to the email address you submitted in your online application. If you meet minimum requirements, recruiters will call the contact number provided in the application to schedule next steps.

 

  • How long will my application be kept on file?

Applications are kept on file for an undisclosed period of time and reviewed regularly. Applicants should update their resume as applicable.

 

  • How long after I am offered a position, will I start working?

When you are offered a position with Logan Aluminum, you will be scheduled for a New Hire Orientation. We hold a New Hire Orientation once per month.
